Yelp

ALCHEMIST Crew, you all outdid yourself‼I needed a spot for a surprise dinner for my daughter. I wanted it as private as I can get for 24ppl without paying any additional fees for it.It's for 11/14 dinner.I msg Alchemist on Yelp on 11/8, came to see the space on 11/9 and I was sold.

David and Vincent were so responsive on Yelp. The GM Will was amazing on hand the time I arrived for the walk thru and the day and evening of the dinner.I wanted to decorate the dining table and Will said it was not a problem. I promise not to bring confetti etc. there's a pool table they cannot move but said that they will cover it. We agreed that I can use that as a dessert table / gift table. The rest is now on pictures and it was amazing.I arrived about 6:30pm, pulled up to the restaurant in the front and David and Achilles were so nice to help me offload all my decorations. When I started to decorate, Achilles helped me decorate the table, blew up the balloons and helped me make it look amazing for the group arriving in less than an hour. I'm so appreciative of his time as I would not have finished in time for the guests to arrive. We took the full space to the left and transformed it to a warm dining area with a long table for all to sit enjoy and have conversations .Alexis and bartender, bar staff were also amazing. They focused on our group and made sure we enjoyed all our drinks and even made some speciality shots for the group.
The food was so flavorful and delicious. Will allowed me to create my own dinner menu from their dishes and pre-ordered all the appetizers in advanced so that after the surprise and everyone had a drink in hand, we can sit down right away and enjoy the array of appetizers already set on the table at an agreed time.

We ordered our entrees during the appetizers period. This way, it was continuous with food and drinks. Small hiccup with delayed on the one dish everyone ended up ordering. Although there were about 8-9 different entrees to pick from, 70% picked the jumping beef dish, and the kitchen couldn't get it out fast enough. All good as it was not expected and when it did come out, it was delicious. The restaurant and bar is small and so quaint. We felt as if we had a private dinner with all the staff working with us. I loved that and exactly what I wanted. They have curated cocktails that are musts!!!Matcha one is a hit.Everything flowed beautifully all evening and I appreciate it. My daughter was so surprised and loved the place. Her friends also loved it.We will be back to wine and dine ourselves

THANKS again to the David, Vincent, Will, Achilles, Alexis and the rest of the staff for helping me with my vision and quickly, less than a week, turned a plan of a surprise dinner into a successful event.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere, live music, pool table, the little details decorating the bar. Highly recommend the jumping beef and Nona’s concoction!

How many of you guys hit a steam punk bar recently with a unique menu and great staff? I came here originally for an event for Global Entrepreneur Week, and found this place to be a real gem. It's not what you would expect in this area and that adds a lot to both the surprise and the charm. It has just recently opened, and more people should be coming to check it out. The menu itself is pretty unique, and I completely forgot to take a picture of it (I will update this review soon to mend that). But there is something for everyone. Personally, I had the Alchemist Burger which had both guacamole and housemate kimchi, it was flavorful, and little spicy, and exactly what I needed. The staff, they are great, they were friendly, recommended great things, and upon discovering that I don't actually drink alcohol, they concocted a mocktail for me that was refreshing. Amanda, Chrissy, and Shawna are fantastic and the kitchen knows what they are doing. I really enjoy this place and look forward to coming here with my circles. Highly recommend 👌

BTW, you'll never be able to predict the next song that plays. It becomes a fun little game

This used to be Hell's Chicken which was a really good place so it's bittersweet. The new replacement restaurant is legit though. We got the wagyu meatballs, Lomo soltado, jumping beef, jade fried rice with scallops, pandan waffles, and Tofu cheesecake. For drinks we got the gin and tonic variant with cynar and butter me up.

The meatballs were good but the tomato sauce was the star, they must've sprinkled crack I it. The jade fried rice was surprisingly good, the jumping beef was a tad overdone but the flavor was on point, and the Lomo soltado was pretty good. Both desserts were yummy but the Tofu cheesecake was the winner.

All in all a worthy replacement for Hell's Chicken and I'll definitely be back. Shout-out to William for being super cool and knowledgeable about the food and drinks.

My favorite dish here. The owner of this restaurant spent a great deal of time learning from the most talented bartenders from all over the world. The employees were so friendly and they had great hospitality. I also enjoyed all of the unique flavors.I loved tasting all of the new flavors they had to offer.
